Henry Dee "H. D." Basham Nov. 16, 1915 - Nov. 28, 2005
H. D. Basham Jr., 91, of Roanoke, VA went to be with the Lord on November 28, 2005. He was born in Daviess County where he resided for 88 years. He was a life-long member of our church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Ward Basham in 2000.
Martha Carolyn Shelton Harpe Aug. 12, 1938 - May 04, 2007
Martha Shelton Harpe, 68, took her place with the Lord on May 4, 2007. Martha was a wonderful person to all that had the pleasure of knowing her and was an exceptional member of the church. Martha's cheerful personality and love for everyone, especially the children, will never be forgotten. To remember Martha brings a smile to the face. She will be greatly missed.
Alta M. Moore Mar. 05, 1922 - Nov. 21, 2006
Alta M. Moore, 84, went to be with the Lord on November 21, 2006. She was a faithful member of our church for many years. She will always be remember as our organist, which she graciously played, as well as serving as secretary for the Sunday School Department. She was a valuable member of our church and will greatly be missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Moore, on November 3, 2005.
Robert W. Moore Oct. 22, 1916 - Nov. 3, 2005
Robert W. Moore, 89, passed on to be with the Lord on November 3, 2005. He was a member of our church since 1941 and served as our treasurer for 30 of those years. He enjoyed his life with his wonderful wife Alta, to whom he shared close to 65 years.
Randall O. Shutt July 1, 1919 - June 18, 2007
Randall O. Shutt passed away on June 18, 2007. Randall was a retired electrician and served in the US Army during World War II. Randall was a very valuable member of our church for many years. Randall is survived by his wife of 65 years, Virginia and a large supportive family. Randall will be greatly missed.
Randall Wayne Shutt Mar. 31,1946 - July 11, 2006
Randall Wayne Shutt, 60, went to take his place with the Lord on July 11, 2006. He was born in Daviess County and was retired as a union electrician after 35 years. He was a faithful member of our church as well as a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by Donna, his loving wife of 19 years.
Bertha Clyde Williams Feb. 25, 1922 - Feb. 19, 2007
Bertha Clyde Williams, 84, passed away on February 19, 2007. She was a wonderful member of the church for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years. "Clyde" will always be remembered for the pleasant person she was and the smile that was always on her face. She will be missed dearly.
